We had been watching TV regularly with our Bravia for 10 years, but its picture quality started to degrade over time. A few other 32" TVs we looked at were a good fit, and that's when we knew we'd make the switch. We use this as an occasional TV, so it gets used mainly for Freeview. Our previous TV had some issues with switching on randomly, which was frustrating. With all the reviews mentioning Google's dominance over our TV, we thought maybe the inbuilt tuner would be a problem.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that setting up the inbuilt tuner was straightforward and easy. We also took care of getting the necessary channels through Wi-Fi, including BBC iplayer and ITVx. The inclusion of streaming apps like Netflix and YouTube was also welcome. We had downloaded STV player as well, but it wasn't essential for us.

It came with some useful pre-installed content, such as Freeview and BBC iplayer, which we've found to be helpful in the past. We even got a bonus download for STV player from Sony's website, so now we're all set up. At no point did Google seem to take over the TV - we were able to use our phone to "cast" content to it without any issues.

The cast feature on our phone was also very intuitive and easy to use. We could view photos and even record BBC iplayer recordings directly onto the TV, which is great. The only thing that caught us off guard was how seamless casting worked - we didn't experience any buffering or lag with Wi-Fi connectivity.

We don't know how this works, but it seems like the TV has some built-in functionality that allows it to receive content from phones and other devices. It even comes with an external HDD USB port, which allowed us to watch VHS tapes. The build quality is fine, with no major complaints.

I was a bit concerned about the power consumption of this TV initially, but we've found it to be under 32W - that's just 1p per hour. We can't comment on larger Sony TVs in general, as they're likely different models. Overall, I'm very happy with our purchase - it's been giving us everything we need for a while now.

The moment my large 75,65 inch TV finally arrived, I felt like I'd landed a new home. I was thrilled to discover it showed even brighter images than my previous Samsung model, which I'd purchased years ago for its impressive picture quality but struggled with colouring at times.

I took the plunge and invested in a Sony Bravia soundbar, feeling impressed by how easily I could set it up using Google's intuitive setup process. The TV itself was connected via Bluetooth to a separate amplifier, which I'd mounted myself on my wall. What struck me most was that even when the Bluetooth receiver wasn't powered on, the audio still came through the TV – a clever feature that allowed me to enjoy films without any distractions.

However, I did experience some colour saturation issues with certain programmes, and it's not something that bothers me too much, as I've grown accustomed to the Samsung TVs' slightly over-saturated colours. Over time, I'd discovered new ways to improve my viewing experience – including using a soundbar and an external amplifier – but these features have helped me find even more joy in watching films on my TV.

As for my recent upgrade from a 55 inch Samsung model to a 75,65 inch Sony Bravia, it's been a game-changer. I'm now thoroughly impressed with the picture quality, which is simply stunning. I've got five free movies available to watch within the next year – including some exclusive ones that can only be accessed through Sony TV – and it's amazing how much difference this has made in my viewing experience overall.

One thing that struck me during my research was the importance of a good glass panel in producing high-quality visuals. I discovered that Samsung had previously faced similar difficulties when trying to produce superior glass panels, which led them to partner with Sony. While there may be some debate about the exact details, I'd say that my experience has been nothing short of impressive – and one that has helped me appreciate just how far Samsung has come in producing truly exceptional TVs.

It seems like a great TV from Sony, but I did notice that the picture quality could have been even better with some tweaks here and there. The packaging was decent, considering our previous experience with another major company. As we carefully unpacked it, we were relieved that none of the cables and remotes had been damaged during transit. Unfortunately, the feet felt a bit flimsy to us, so we're keeping an eye on how well it holds up over time.

When we first powered it up, everything was clean and unmarked. We've always appreciated Sony's commitment to quality, and this model lives up to that standard once again. It looks good too - sleek design, decent size, and a very thin border around the screen. And when we adjust the picture and sound settings, everything seems just right.

We're also impressed with how easy it is to set up, using all the latest features and apps without any issues. Connectivity has been spot on so far, no problems at all with our Sky and mini-boxes. We've had a few minor issues here and there - like when adjusting the picture settings - but overall, we're very happy with this TV.

It's great to see that Sony is still innovating and pushing the boundaries of what you can expect from their products. And at an affordable price point, it's definitely worth considering for those looking for a reliable TV without breaking the bank. We'd highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new screen.
